Our Studio

We are fortunate to have a beautiful, spacious yoga space on the west side of downtown Driggs, Idaho.  With views of Eastern Idaho's Big Hole mountain range, our studio accommodates up to 33 people and is used for anywhere between ten and twenty classes per week.

When you first come in the front door, you'll find a hallway and seating area where students typically remove and store their shoes and socks  - a symbol of leaving preconceived ideas and limitations at the door and entering into the studio with a "beginner's mind."  There is plenty of space for coats and other belongings in the hallway, and a handful of bulletin boards keep you updated on events at the studio and in the community.  After class, the hallway often becomes a social hub - it's a great place to make plans with fellow yogis for a post-practice cup of tea or a ski date!

At the end of the hall is the door to the studio - a 600 square foot space with wood floors, high ceilings, fans, and windows towards the south and west.  At the far corner of the studio is the "prop closet" - the space in which all of our yoga mats, blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, and eye pillows are stored.  Some practitioners choose to bring their own props; however, you are more than welcome to use the ones we have at the studio.

Behind the studio is the bathroom - a good place to change if you come to the studio straight from work or play.  We also have a small office and retail space at the end of the entry hallway.  At the entrance to the office is the sign-in book and the punch card box.  We ask that students sign in when they come into class and pull their punch cards from the box - we take care of the rest.  If you don't have a card, the teacher can help you get one.  In the retail space, we carry a wide variety of yoga pants and tops, as well as books, music, and instructional videos.  We have a selection of mats and other yoga props for sale, and a shelf of Ayurvedic healing products that change seasonally.

We have three private rooms in our building as well.  Two of them are currently occupied by massage therapists, and a third is available for rent.  We are hoping to add another healing practitioner to our community.  Please get in touch with us to find out more about this opportunity.
